Samsung confirms important date that every Galaxy phone owner needs to know
Samsung has confirmed that its next major Unpacked launch event will take place on February 25 in San Francisco.
The showcase will focus on new Android smartphones, with the Korean technology company confirming that its latest Galaxy S Series devices will be unveiled in Silicon Valley.
Along with getting all the usual speed, camera and battery life upgrades it also seems these latest flagships will get smarter thanks to improved artificial intelligence.
“Get ready for a mobile experience designed to remove friction from the things you do every day,” Samsung explained.
“The new Galaxy S series is coming – built to simplify everyday interactions, inspire confidence and make Galaxy AI feel seamlessly integrated from the moment it’s in hand.”
If you love all things Android, this is one event you won’t want to miss.
WHAT WILL BE UNVEILED AT UNPACKED?
It's almost certain that Samsung will give fans their first look at the new S26 range, which will include a standard S26, bigger S26 Plus and ultimate S26 Ultra with S Pen.
An update to the super-skinny Galaxy Edge could also be showcased, though sales of the original are thought to have been sluggish, so it's unclear whether a newer version is being produced.
All of the S26 devices will almost certainly get a boost to performance, longer battery life, better cameras and more advanced AI.
We might even see Samsung add magnetic charging, a little like Apple's MagSafe and Google's Pixel Snap technology.
Mirror Online will be heading across the pond and will bring you all the updates live as they happen.
