Brit 'traitor' to stop fighting for Putin in Ukraine for new job in Russia

A British "traitor" fighting for Vladimir Putin has revealed he aims to quit the cannon fodder frontline after a final six-month posting.

Ben Stimson revealed he intends to escape from the bloody war and instead teach English to Russians. Stimson has long been a zealous cheerleader for Putin’s war, and has previously claimed to be "a hero and a minor celeb" in Russia.

However the 50-year-old, who has even been granted a Russian passport, has announced that he's quitting the frontline as he is “getting too old for military service”. His planned exit for a calmer life is despite many Russian citizens serving until between 55 and 70 depending on rank.

The mercenary said: “My immediate goal is to get my registration and military papers so that I can sign the next six-month contract. It will be my last one, because I’m getting too old for military service.”

Stimson - who said he will never stop supporting Oldham Athletic despite moving to Russia - said: “I myself am returning to the Military Operation in two weeks.”

He has a new reservist contract, he said, while making clear it would be his final tour at the Russian front. Stimson spoke as Russia is reported to be losing 30,000 soldiers a month in Putin’s illegal war.

The British turncoat was asked in an interview if he aimed to start a family with a Russian woman after .

“I’m getting a bit too old for that,” he said, adding: "I think I’ll take the exam to become an English teacher, then I’ll be teaching English.”

He explained that he has no desire to return to Britain, launching a vicious tirade on the UK's Government and monarchy saying: "I have no loyalty at all, to the corrupt, tyrannical Westminster government or the paedophile-linked monarchy”.

Stimson welcomed another British fighter to Russia who, he said, was also signing a contract with Putin’s army.

Bradley Townsend, 33, said: "I'm just a normal working class lad from Yorkshire and come to Russia to sign a contract [to fight in the Putin army against Ukraine ].

“I thought about it for a long time now and it, just - now’s the time.”

Stimson said: “Let’s all wish Bradley well, we will meet again," adding, “our new comrade Bradley came here by his own choice and for the right reasons. . .You are on the right side of history.”
